As part of the Cyclists Badge in Scouts, the Scouts have to undertake several cycling journeys. Now the summer is here, they undertook a route from Rowleys Drive in Shotton to Thurstaston Country Park on the Wirral. The route uses the Railway bridge cycle path before heading through Deeside Industrial Park onto the new(ish) cycle link path next to Burton Marshes. From here the Scouts headed through Neston and Parkgate on the Wirral Way. This is just one of many cycle journeys that Scouts have to do to complete the badge. More cycling, this time with a overnight stay at Abergele. We cycled along the north Wales Coast route from Prestatyn to Llandudno, finishing with a trip to the chip shop of course!
